The 26th International exhibition of railway technology “IAF 2013”

The International exhibition of railway technology “IAF 2013” was held from 28 to 30 May 2013 in Münster (Germany). The exhibition is aimed at demonstrating of the innovations in railway technology, components of the railway infrastructure and rolling stock equipment. At this year the exhibition was attended by exhibitors from Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Russia, Italy, France, USA, South Korea, China, Japan, South Africa, etc.

INFOTRANS exposition presented the latest developments of the enterprise, new products of the diagnostic techniques and technologies. Purposes of participation in the exhibition were: demonstration of products and search for potential partners and customers, discussing of the implementation of current and future projects, the interaction with the specialists from various railways and companies-producers of the railway equipment in different countries of the world.

As existing models of equipment INFOTRANS introduced two units of the manual automated diagnostic system RPI (for gauge of 1435 mm and 1520 mm). RPI are removable multifunctional diagnostic tool, which solve a wide range of tasks from monitoring to ensure safety till the design of measurement, assignment and acceptance of repairs.

Today, the possibilities of RPI familiar not only to Russian specialists, but also to specialists from the railways in Western and Eastern Europe, South-East Asia. The success of the demonstration test of RPI on foreign railways, including a test for German railways (Deutsche Bahn) in February 2013, showed the great interest from specialists in the field of its application.

During the three days of the event, the representatives of INFOTRANS have numerous meetings, received proposals for cooperation, resolved issues of planned negotiations. There was an interesting meeting with representatives of the Federal Association for Economic Development and Foreign Trade (BWA) of Germany headed by the Chairman Wolfram Novsh. BWA appreciated the prospects of a joint Russian-German railway project between INFOTRANS and Deutsche Bahn.

Today INFOTRANS is a full participant in the global market of the innovative technologies. This applies not only to the use of modern measurement technologies (GPS, laser scanners, gyroscopes, high-speed cameras, etc.), but also to comprehensive diagnostic technologies that our company offers to customers.
